Predictions

  • 2035 (Dec 2024): most people have a robot in their house that can do anything: cooking whole meals, clean, talk, some level of sex
    • countries will rely on robotpower to drive the economy. rate of birth would be meaningless
    • all countries will give ubi
    • armies will consist of millions of autonomous ideology indoctrinated robots (to avoid takeover)
  • 2040 (Dec 2024): thousands of robots in mars
  • 2050 (Dec 2024): first robots physically indistinguishable from humans
  • 2060 (Dec 2024): first country gives robots some rights

the open questions (Dec 2024):

  • will we cheat death (i bet that we will extend lifespan by 50 years by 2080)
  • will we integrate our brains with machines
  • will new physics be discovered
